Sweets & Preserves :)

One of my favorite memories about Grammie is about eating (shocking)! As a child, when the family would come visit, we would all go on a wilderness "adventure", get to pick berries and explore, come back and eat our findings! We would also get to taste the fruit preserves Grammie had prepared in her individual explorations, yummy! The chats and family time we would have together while snacking on specially-prepared preserves were truly lovely. :)

    I'm going to tag onto this one as this is probably my favorite memories with Grammie. After the 548264 hour drive (which is how it felt as a child) up to Maine, going out and berry picking! So much fun (even though I never actually liked them in my food lol). So good nonetheless. Then getting to come back to the house and hang out with the cats and dog. Grammie's house was da bomb!
